About the library sessions
These sessions are only available to Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga | Ministry of Education, Tertiary Education Commission | Te Amorangi Mātauranga Matua, New Zealand Qualifications Authority | Mana Tohu Mātauranga o Aotearoa, and Education Review Office | Te Tari Arotake Mātauranga people.
These sessions will be on Microsoft Teams. If you don't have Teams you can join as a guest using any web browser.

Find out more about the library and how we support your work. We'll cover what is available on the Education Library website, search tools for finding information and research, getting help and support, and email updates to help you keep up to date with the sector and new research.
Effective searching: building your search skills
Thursday 17 September, 11am to 11.45am
This session introduces key search techniques including phrase searching, truncation (stemming), Boolean operators (AND, OR), and entering search words into basic (single) and guided (advanced) search boxes. These techniques will help you with searching OneSearch and most of our article databases including Education Research Complete, ERIC, and APA PsycINFO.
