The library is still online only. Please keep all books on loan to you until we ask for them to be returned.
Returning to offices under alert level 2
The library team will begin gradually transitioning back in to the office from Monday 18 May when Mātauranga House re-opens.
Please be patient. We need to assess the set up in Mātauranga House and make sure we can comply with all health and safety instructions. It will be a few weeks before all services are available and some services will take longer during alert level 2.
Book loans, interloans, scanning articles from print journals, and other services that have been on hold during levels 3 and 4 will not begin immediately. Our June 'connect with the library' email will let you know when these services will be available. We will also update the information on our website.
Borrowing and returning books:
- Please don't return any books until asked.
- If you return to the office and find books waiting for you that you haven't had time to read yet, please email us and we'll re-issue the book to you.
- You can continue to place requests for books in the library catalogue. We will start sending these out over the next couple of weeks. We won't send out anything without first checking where to send it to - we know some people will be working from home for a while longer and are working on a plan to supply books to you. We will contact you to check where to send the book, when we're ready to send the book out.
- If you placed a request for a book in the library catalogue and no longer want it, please log into your account and cancel the request.
